â—ŹÂ ABOUT USÂ â—ŹÂ INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS COACHING
The bestÂ
Business Coaches
don't just ask great questions.
Â
— They change the trajectory of a business
      Â
Developing that capability in coaches is all we do.
Most business coaches hear "we need more revenue" and start working on sales, or "we need better people" and start talking about hiring.
The client already knows the symptom. They're paying for the diagnosis.
The coaches who get referrals, retain clients, and command premium fees have learnt one thing most haven't. How to diagnose the root cause, not just the symptom.

Â
Why we
built this
Â
Here's what business owners expect now.Â

We've seen what happens when a coach gets this right.
A business owner who has been circling the same problem for three years finally sees it clearly. A decision that felt impossible becomes obvious. A business that was stalling suddenly starts moving.
That moment doesn't come from great questions. It comes from a coach who can see what the business owner can't, diagnose what's actually driving the problem, and build a pathway forward that the client couldn't have achieved on their own.
Business owners aren't looking for inspiration or accountability alone. They're looking for a coach who can see what's actually holding their business back, build a strategy that fits their reality, not a template, and stay in the room until the work is done.
Â
Giving coaches the capability to do exactly that, to the standard business owners expect, is why we exist.Â
The frameworks, the diagnostic process, the ability to create that moment for your clients — that’s exactly what the 9 July event is built around.
Â

actually requires.
Â
Three roles, same client, often in the same session.
Diagnostician
Strategist
Coach
Effective business coaching requires all three, often in the same session, with the same client.
That means you need to diagnose what's really happening; build a strategy that fits their reality, not a template; and drive implementation until the work is actually done. Everything in this programme is built to be used. In the room. With real clients. From day one.
That's the standard IOBC is built around. And that's what you'll start.

Here's what business owners expect now.

AI has made business information instantly accessible to anyone.
Frameworks, templates, market research, and financial models – a business owner can get all of it in seconds. Which means delivering content alone is no longer enough to justify your value as a coach.
What no platform can replicate is a coach who can read what’s really happening in a business — who can sit across from a client, hear what they’re saying, see past the presenting problem, and identify what’s actually driving it. Who can build a pathway forward that the client couldn’t have found alone and create change that actually sticks.
The coaches who will thrive are the ones who can do that.
Â
That is transformational coaching, and it is what IOBC trains you to deliver.

Jacqui AttardÂ
Jacqui Attard
Co-founder & Managing Director
As CEO of Realise Business from 2013 to 2023, she grew revenue by 275%, built a team of 25 business coaches and advisors, and secured over $20 million in government contracts. Her leadership was recognised nationally — she was named in Smart Company’s Smart 50, a finalist for the CEO Magazine ANZ Executive of the Year Award, and a recipient of the NSW Small Business Commissioner’s Special Category Award and Client Experience Award.
Jacqui has been coaching business owners since 1999. In more than 25 years, she has worked directly with over 1,600 businesses across every industry and growth stage and has reached more than 10,000 through her coaching programmes.
She holds a Master of Business Coaching from the University of Wollongong and a graduate certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and brings more than ten years of board experience across executive and non-executive roles.
WHAT DRIVES HER:
The moment a business owner sees their business clearly, sometimes for the first time. That moment doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because a coach has the skill to get underneath the surface, find what's really going on, and create a breakthrough the client couldn't reach alone. That's what she built IOBC to develop in coaches.
Charmion Ingram
Co-founder &Â Director of Programmes
During her eleven years as an internal business coach with AMP, she did more than coach; she built. Designing and leading business coaching training programmes from the inside, she was instrumental in bringing best-in-class coaching capability to financial advice businesses across the AMP network. When she launched her own consulting business, she took that same rigour with her, specialising in financial advisory, wealth management and accounting firms.
Charmion has been coaching business owners and leaders since 2008. In more than 17 years she has worked with over 1,400 businesses and professionals across some of Australia's leading financial institutions, delivering business coaching and Future Leaders programmes where the stakes and the standards are high.
She holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England, a Master of Business Coaching from the University of Wollongong and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Â
WHAT DRIVES HER:
Financial services professionals are technically brilliant and often completely unrecognised as leaders and business builders. Charmion's work is about closing that gap. She helps people who are exceptional at what they do become exceptional at running and growing the businesses they have built. She does her best work in that shift, from practitioner to business leader. It’s the same change IOBC is designed to make in coaches.
