Years Refining the Method
Course Overview

Clients renew when they can see the numbers improve.

Business Coaching: Advanced is how you show them.

This course is for coaches who are already in the room with clients. Ten modules developed and refined across more than 3,000 businesses over 25 years, covering client baselining, forecasting, capacity, strategy, succession and the measures that prove your coaching is working. Structured. Evidence based. Built for the work that happens after the plan is agreed.

What holds a client through implementation.

Three things every coaching engagement needs.

01

A Baseline

Work you do alongside the owner, on their numbers. The gaps in the business surface before anyone starts talking about a plan.

02

An Agreed Forecast

Built after the baseline, and built to close the gaps it found. The client helped surface them, so the numbers are already theirs.

03

A Measure of Impact

The baseline numbers, measured again. The client can see the gaps closing, so renewing with you becomes a decision about results.

Business Coaching: Advanced builds the baseline, the forecast and the measures a client agrees to, and that keep them with you until the numbers improve.

Outcomes

What you'll leave able to do.

Nine capabilities you can use from your next engagement, built across ten modules and three full days.

  • Open any engagement on measured ground, with a baseline built before the first session
  • Build a forecast the client has genuinely agreed to, and the KPIs that keep it a management tool
  • Prove your coaching with evidence a client can see, so renewal is a decision about results
  • Reduce a client's strategy to one page, then convert it into what happens on Monday
  • Structure a business so it does not depend on the owner, with responsibility genuinely allocated
  • Tell a client whether to grow, or first build the capacity to carry it
  • Lead the succession conversation, and land on an ownership structure everyone wants
  • Build your own benchmarking tool and show any client where they sit against it
  • Map the strategic pathway for your own coaching business

Course Modules

Ten modules. Every one used with a real client.

Every module gives you something a client can act on, and the judgement to know when to reach for it.

Module 01 · Day 1

Resource Planning

Who owns the function, not just the task

Every business reaches a point where the owner becomes the constraint, not through how hard they work but through how much still runs through them.

Module 02 · Day 1

Capacity Management

Growth doesn't fix what's already broken

Scale multiplies whatever is already there, including the problems.

Module 03 · Day 1

Succession

Who holds what, and when that changes

Most businesses default to an even split, decided early and rarely revisited.

Module 04 · Day 1

Client Baselining

You can't coach what you haven't measured

This is the work that happens before the first coaching session. The gaps you find here are what the rest of the engagement is built to close.

Module 05 · Day 2

Forecasting and KPIs

The numbers a client agrees to

A forecast built without the owner is a guess with a spreadsheet attached.

Module 06 · Day 2

Measuring Your Impact

Proving the value of your coaching

If a client can't see the results, they won't renew, no matter how good the work actually was. Renewal follows evidence, not effort.

Module 07 · Day 2

Strategy on a Page

Direction a client will actually use

Strategy that lives in a thick document is strategy nobody follows. One page a client keeps in front of them beats twenty they never open.

Module 08 · Day 3

Operational Planning

From strategy to what happens Monday

A strategy without an operational plan is just an opinion about the future, and the gap between the two is where most engagements quietly stall.

Module 09 · Day 3

Applied Case Work

Every model against a real client

Working through real case studies, you will apply everything covered across the three days to genuine client situations and solutions.

Module 10 · Day 3

Benchmarking and Pathway

The business you build with all this

Everything up to this point has been about the client. This module turns it on you.

Who Is It For

Three audiences.
One program.

01
The Business Coach
You are good at what you do. The market is moving fast, and AI has raised what business owners expect from a coach. They arrive more informed than ever, and less patient for advice they could have found themselves. Advanced gives you a way to show a client exactly what has changed since you started working together. Engagements run longer, and you can quantify your results.
02
The Advisor or BDM
You are already in the room with small business owners, as a financial advisor, accountant, franchise manager, business banker or BDM. Your clients trust you and increasingly ask questions that go beyond your core service. Advanced gives you a client baseline, a forecast they have agreed to, and a result you can point to when the relationship comes up for review.
03
The Aspiring Business Coach
You are transitioning into coaching. You have years of business experience: strategy, leadership, operations, finance. Corporate experience does not automatically translate into small business coaching, and generic coaching skills do not either. Advanced gives you the models most business coaches assemble over a decade of trial and error, applied against real case studies before you sit across from a paying client.

New to business coaching? Start with Business Coaching: Foundations. Either program can be taken on its own.

FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

No. Advanced is a standalone program. That said, many participants find that completing Foundations first gives them more to build on.

Foundations builds the judgement to read any business, choose the model it actually needs, and bring the client with you. Advanced builds the baseline, the forecast and the measures a client agrees to, and that keep them with you until the numbers improve.

No pre-reading and no assessment. If you can, bring a live client and their real numbers. Several modules apply directly to a current situation, and you will get far more out of the three days working on something real.

Ten. That is a cap, not a target. Ten is the largest group we can put in a room and still have every person work their own client through every model.

We understand life happens. If you need to miss a session please reach out to us directly and we'll work with you on the best way forward.

Pacific Workspaces, Level 5, 115 Pitt Street, Sydney. The same venue as Business Coaching: Foundations.

Business Coaching: Advanced carries IOBC accreditation, and you will receive an IOBC Certificate of Completion on the final day. It is not currently aligned to an external accrediting body.

The program is paid in full at registration. If you need to arrange something different, contact us before you enrol and we will work it out with you.

Yes. This is the inaugural Business Coaching: Advanced cohort. In practice that means a deliberately small group and direct, hands-on access to Jacqui and Charmion throughout, the closest access this program will ever offer once it scales to future cohorts.
